Assembly Operator

We are looking for positive, hard working team members to fill full time assembly operator positions and contribute to the growth and strength of the company. 10 hour days M-Th. Some overtime may be offered or required as business dictates.
Job Functions:
Maintain good housekeeping and follow all safety policies and processes
Manufacture windows safely and produce quality product according to standard procedures
Operate machines (saws, CNC, clamping devices, etc) in an assembly line environment
Accurately measure parts, pieces and final units in process to ensure excellent product quality for our customers
Meet production standards that enables Beechworth Windows to ship 100% on time to our customers
Communicate effectively with leads, engineers, and other employees
Qualifications
Able to stand and walk for most of a 9-10 hour shift
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely while working in a fast paced environment
Excellent attendance record and a strong commitment to being at work for every scheduled shift
Positive attitude and willingness to work as a team to solve problems and meet goals
Ability to learn wood, fiberglass and glass standards
Must have strong basic math skills, including the ability to convert fractions and decimals and determine which measurements fall within a tolerance range
Ability to quickly and accurately read a tape measure
Prefer a working knowledge of measuring instruments such as calipers and experience working within tight tolerances
Must be able to read and understand written work instructions in English
Good teamwork skills and initiative to take action when work needs to be done
Previous manufacturing or machine operation skills a plus

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
