Summary:
The Facilities Supervisor is a hands-on position that plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing equipment installs, repairs, and processes to produce high quality product.
The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the maintenance, tool & die, custodial, and/or recycling teams on new program launches, setting up and/or revising manufacturing processes and assisting the manufacturing operations in problem solving and continuous process improvements.
The Facilities supervisor supervises and coordinates the day-to-day maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment.
Oversees staff that installs, inspects, repairs, and maintains building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management.
Supervise maintenance, tool & die, recycling, and custodial staff following policies and procedures using performance management processes.
Implement regular inspection in all facilities areas within operation to ensure activities are conducted safely and appropriately.
Execute open, close, and secure facilities at mentioned times and check for safety and maintenance concerns.
Educate and guide maintenance, tool & die, recycling, and custodial staff.
Enforce and comply with all Rockwell Automation established policies and procedures.
Develop and manage all maintenance, tool & die, recycling, and custodial activities with necessary materials for efficient, safe, and service-oriented events.
Compile maintenance and tool & die measurement systems, reports and performance information on equipment and mold dies providing reinvestment information.
Perform daily management and operation of facility within Rockwell Automation Guidelines.
Interview, hire, train, supervise and manage direct reports.
Interact and communicate with vendors, oem's, and suppliers regularly.
Budgetary management of repair and maintenance and outside service accounts.
Collaborate with financial partners and vendors on purchase order information.
Maintain facility and records to ensure compliance with company standards and all federal, state and local regulatory agencies.
Collaborate and team with Rockwell Automation functional teams for productivity improvements.
Lead and participate in plant project activities.
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree Preferred
Qualifications:
Typically requires no management experience.
Typically requires 3
years equivalent work experience.
Strong and diverse technical background in mechanical and electrical processing, tooling, equipment, materials, manufacturing and quality.
Self-starter must be able to work with little direction and with a high level of self-motivation.
Ability to manage multiple projects.
Demonstrated communication (written and verbal), teamwork, and organizational skills.
Excellent computer skills, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCad, etc.
Demonstrated ability to think out of the box and recommend options.
Ability to lead others, responsibility includes direct reports.
